Our Client an Engineering company are seeking an EC&I Construction Manager for permanent position in Hull location. This role is placed within Construction, Oil & Gas, Nuclear, Energy, Utilities,Chemicals, Petrochemicals or highly regulated industry.

About the Role

As an experienced EC&I Construction Manager you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the construction and installation of electrical and instrumentation systems. This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to the successful delivery of a large-scale construction project, ensuring all EC&I activities are executed safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards.

Role will be based onsite at the PUMA Project PTW Office in Kingston upon Hull.

Key Responsibilities

As the EC&I Construction Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient execution of all electrical and instrumentation work scopes on site. This includes conducting regular site visits to monitor planned activities, performing safety and HSE audits, and collaborating closely with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment with project schedules.

You will support the management of budgets and costs related to EC&I scopes, assist with contract compliance and change order processes, and contribute to the preparation of regular progress reports. Your role will also involve coordinating with procurement to ensure timely availability of materials, identifying and mitigating potential risks, and maintaining clear communication across departments.

Additionally, you will oversee the integration of EC&I activities with other trades and subcontractors, monitor progress against project timelines, and provide leadership and guidance to the EC&I team to ensure high standards of performance and collaboration.
