Contract Type: Contract Rolling 12 months

Rate: 560- 590 per day Umbrella

The Opportunity:

We are leading the delivery of the UK's most ambitious energy infrastructure project: Hinkley Point C, a next-generation nuclear power station set to power 6 million homes. We are seeking a Project Manager with significant major project experience to join our dynamic and multi-disciplinary team. This is a pivotal role with direct responsibility for high-value, complex contracts and packages of work, valued between 250k- 150m.



Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive the delivery of engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning activities in line with schedule, safety, and quality requirements.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders including major contractors.
  • Manage risk, budget, schedule, and change control processes with confidence.
  • Support the Senior Project Manager in developing execution strategies and detailed work plans.
  • Lead contract scoping, progress tracking, reporting, and lessons-learned capture.
  • Interface with other project areas to maintain alignment and promote best practice.


What We're Looking For:

  • Demonstrated project management experience in large, complex EPCM projects.
  • A strong engineering foundation, ideally in mechanical, piping, equipment, or HVAC.
  • Expertise in contract delivery, procurement, and stakeholder engagement.
  • Practical understanding of NEC or FIDIC contracts, CDM Regulations, and Earned Value Management.
  • Ability to interpret large volumes of data and translate technical content into clear reporting.
  • Experience managing commercial claims and navigating change processes.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Degree in engineering, construction, or related discipline (preferred but not essential).
  • Professional Project Management qualification (e.g., APM PPQ or equivalent).


What You'll Need to Succeed:

  • 50-70% of your experience in engineering; 30-50% in project management.
  • Proven ability to write clear, concise technical documents and contract specifications.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder coordination skills.
  • Proactive, solutions-focused mindset with commercial awareness.
