Electrical Design Engineer - Nuclear Sector
Location: Derby (Hybrid - 3 days from home)
Salary: Up to £70,000 A leading organisation in the nuclear industry is looking for an Electrical Design Engineer with a strong bias towards Instrumentation & Control to join their team. What you'll do: Design and deliver electrical systems across EC&I, panel design, HVAC, fire detection, and building services Work on high-profile nuclear projects from concept to commissioning Use industry-standard tools: AutoCAD, AMTECH, Dialux, PDMS / Aveva 3D Collaborate with senior engineers and project teams to ensure safe, compliant, and high-quality deliverables
Who we're looking for: 5+ years' experience as an Electrical Design Engineer Experience in the nuclear sector preferred Chartered or qualified Electrical Design Engineer advantageous Strong background in control systems, instrumentation, and building services
