Description: | About the Role Radiological Protection / Discharge Standards Engineer The Opportunity At Sizewell B Power Station, we're operating the only PWR in the UK, accredited to the ISO 14001 Environmental Management Standard. Sizewell B was the first nuclear power plant in Europe to achieve this standard. As an Engineer in our team, you'll be focused on Radioactive Substances Regulation initially, but will have the opportunity to work flexibly with other team members and other responsibilities to ensure compliance with the highest standards of environment and radiological protection. Pay, benefits and culture We can offer a competitive salary from £45,641 - £95,993 with terms and conditions covered by the EDF Nuclear Generation Company Agreement. You'll be appointed based on the parameters outlined in the Company Agreement. This is a full-time position, working 5 days per week on site. A fully extensive training programme will be available to the successful applicant.
What you'll be doing Your key accountabilities will include:
Following suitable training and development, you will be expected to take on the roles of Accredited Radioactive Waste Engineer &/or Accredited Health Physicist. You will be required to undertake a role on the emergency scheme, following a period of training. Who you are
