Reporting to the Senior Engineering Manager, an Engineering Manager is responsible for leading the development of multi-disciplinary development of an area on the site-specific RR SMR power station design. This role will integrate and co-ordinate the site-specific design activities on a RRSMR development project as one of the engineering leaders within the project team. The role will require extensive interfacing and team working around the entire programme, internally and externally, developing aspects of the site-specific design with a key focus on ensuring integration with the generic development of the RRSMR. The role is responsible for the planning and delivery of engineering deliverables, in their area, to meet the needs of the clients site development programme. The engineering manager will work with the senior engineering manager and project management team to identify the resources necessary to deliver and then lead and manage their team in the project matrix organisation. The candidate will be an engineering leader with a record of planning and delivery of complex programmes with a range of client and regulatory engagement. The candidate will demonstrate power station (or equivalent large scale infrastructure) knowledge and have experience of leading multi-disciplinary engineering design teams, with experience of one or more of the following areas:

Training & Qualification Requirements The candidate will be a Chartered Engineer or equivalent and hold a relevant technical degree level qualification or will have equivalent relevant industry experience.
