An opportunity exists for an experienced freelance EC&I Commissioning Engineer on a major nuclear decommissioning project. Your duties will include - To carry out vendor testing witnessing duties at works test.
- Preparation of plant commissioning test specifications
- Early inspection of site installation to facilitate system handovers
- Execution of testing activities throughout IPC commissioning phase
- Identification of faults and ability to propose and implement solutions
- Organisation of Commissioning Technicians and support resources
- Initiation and implementation of FOBs
- Validation of Working Level Instructions
- Application and removal of Temporary Commissioning Aids
Essential requirements include - - Nuclear CE&I systems commissioning
- Minimum - HNC/HND in Engineering related subject or equivalent
- Experience in nuclear commissioning
- Project management knowledge, preferably APM member
- Calculation production using Excel
- IOSH Working or Managing Safely
- SMSTS or SSSTS
- ECS Supervisory card
