We are seeking an Engineering Manager with significant previous experience for this employee role based at our office in Grangemouth. Candidates must have oil and gas or refinery experience to be suitable for this role.Responsibilities  About YouResponsible for the assurance of technical integrity of engineering delivered within designated contracts in full compliance with PD&MS Group proceduresContinual monitoring of Engineering delivery performance in line with project, corporate and client requirementsResponsible for aligning delivery and behaviours across all technical disciplines within designated contracts to ensure optimal results are delivered to clientsOversee delivery of cost-effective engineering solutions that are fit for purpose, safe and add value to both PD&MS and the Client. Motivation of all discipline personnel to do similarlyResponsible for working closely with the contract Construction Manager to ensure an optimized engineering design for construction is achieved through facilitation of constructability reviews at strategic points during design developmentReview of engineering delivery against pre-determined internal KPI'sReview of engineering delivery against client specific KPI'sMonitoring of engineering productivity and implementing remedial measures where applicableManage interface between engineering disciplines and other functions within projects where necessary e.g. PRP's, Project ServicesEnsuring correct work sequencing and workflow are in place across disciplines/ project phases (e.g. procurement, construction) to prevent re-work, or conversely the ability of dependent disciplines to make optimal progress. Intervening to resolve potential conflict if such situations ariseResponsible for the continuous improvement of engineering and construction processes and proceduresResource analysis utilizing ProTools and discipline work scope forecastingEngagement with engineering department heads to ensure correct allocation of resources in line with project requirements, including weekly FTE meeting attendance and contract overviewReview / approve / reject engineering queries / scope change, e.g. EQ's, TQ's, etc.Regular review of NCR's and SIR's being raised within projects and managing resolution through to completion.Maintain constant dialogue with Job Responsible Engineers to ensure project requirements are being serviced as required and provide regular progress updates to the Contract ManagerRegular contact with clients engineering and technical functional leadership team to maintain positive relationships within the contractPreparation / approval of estimates and tender packages including PEER review of discipline generated CTRsRepresentation of PD&MS with Clients, Suppliers / Vendors and Certifying Authorities in a professional mannerConvening regular engineering meetings to ensure alignment with contract requirementsReview and monitoring of competence of engineering personnel across the company.
