Description:	Architectural Technician/Technologist Location: Plymouth (2 days on-site every week) Certain Advantage are recruiting on behalf of our established Engineering client for an Architectural Technician/Technologist to work with one of their prominent customers to provide technical support on non-nuclear and nuclear assets and facilities within the Devonport Dockyard site, which could for example include, refurbishments/renovation, new developments and listed building compliance. The role is expected to require you to support the customer in key delivery projects, providing professional and flexible technical support to the delivery of construction related projects, ensuring that all architectural aspects of construction modifications, redesigns and new infrastructure are scoped, developed and delivered to meet operational requirements, safety standards and compliance obligations. Key Responsibilities: Providing advice on construction related matters Providing input into various stages of theRIBAprocess Producing drawing information and specification Liaising with key customer stakeholders and design team Interfacingwith statutory authorities Your Qualifications & Experience Demonstrable years of relevant architectural experience Proven track record in delivering projects from RIBA stages 3 to 5, including acting as lead designer and overseeing the wider design team Knowledge and experience working withinRIBAstages 0 to 2 preferable Strong knowledge of Revit and/or similar BIM capable software and project delivery to BIM level 2 Proficiency in understanding/production ofarchitectural drawingsand specifications. Knowledge of roles and responsibilities under current legislation, including CDM and BSA Ability to work in ambiguous environments, working with a customer-first approach and providing flexibility to changing requirements. Desirable Skills & Experience: Good Communication skills - Makes clear and convincing oral presentations; listens effectively; clarifies information as needed. Understanding of nuclear industry and/or other safety critical environments. Experience in working in a dockyard, marine, Defence or MoD environments particularly with asset lifecycle support. Knowledge of commercial and industrial sector environment Experience with delivering projects in compliance with environmental regulations Experience working with common data environments or data delivery platforms Experience working with various size projects to provide a broad range of skills Does this sound like your next career move?
