Description:

NRL have exciting opportunities for Senior Mechanical Design Engineers with one of our leading clients, Tenet Consultants Ltd. They are an innovative multi discipline engineering and design consultancy, with headquarters in Warrington. Tenet has now opened a new office in Anglesey, North Wales and are seeking to engage local personnel to join their team.

Mechanical Design Activities
  • Concept & Front End Engineering Design (FEED) Studies
  • Equipment Specification
  • Detail Design
  • Engineering Substantiation
  • Specialist Mechanical Handling Design
  • Mechanical Piping Design
  • Manufacture installation and Commissioning Support
  • Periodic Safety Reviews
  • Lifetime Quality Records (LQR)
  • Safety System Design
  • Independent Nuclear Safety Assessment (INSA) & Peer Review
What You Will Need
  • Experience working within a highly regulated industry, preferably Nuclear.
  • HND minimum, ideally degree qualified and working towards being a Chartered Engineer.
  • Able to lead teams and develop younger engineers.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to perform mechanical design calculations, produce technical specifications and requisitions, datasheets, perform technical bid evaluations.
  • Checking of design documentation.
  • All candidates must have the ability to obtain BPSS.
  • AutoCAD, Inventor, General Microsoft Office package.
