Senior C&I Designer (SPI Intools) Hybrid Working

Location: Hybrid

This is an excellent opportunity to join a leading engineering business during a period of continued growth as they support the Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, Hydrogen, Renewable Energy and Nuclear sectors.

Strong working knowledge of Smart Plant Instrumentation (SPI Intools) is essential.

Our client can accommodate hybrid working with alternate weeks to be spent working remotely and then form their offices in West Wales.

Role & Responsibilities

• Producing new / updating existing produce Instrument Index s, Instrument Schedules, Cable Schedules, Hook-up Diagrams, Interconnecting Diagrams and Loop Diagrams in SPI.
• Strong working knowledge of Smart Plant Instrumentation (SPI Intools) is essential.
• Managing change and identifying, formalising and notifying relevant parties of changes in the project.
• Contributing to site requests by providing technical analysis.
• Production of documentation to support construction.

Key Skills & Knowledge

• Must be qualified to ONC / HNC as a minimum.
• Strong working knowledge of Smart Plant Instrumentation (SPI Intools) is essential.
• Experience of C&I engineering documentation.
• Experience of PLC and DCS systems.
• Must have proven experience in Oil & Gas, Petrochem, Renewable Energy sectors or similar.

Additional Information

Initially a c.6 month contract with the high likelihood of extending.
