Westlakes Recruit are currently recruiting for a Nuclear HSE Consultant based in Reading. Candidates will be on a Hybrid working arrangement and engaged on a contract basis.
Key Accountabilities
Lead and manage technical input to the planning and production of safety documentation.
Deliver safety assessments and associated technical documentation in accordance with agreed organisational standards.
Monitor the production and delivery of safety documentation using defined performance measures.
Ensure safety documentation complies with internal management system procedures and requirements.
Provide technical input to corporate safety, environmental and health policies, guidance and strategic direction.
Contribute to the development and delivery of technical training.
Mentor and support the development of safety assessment personnel as part of structured capability programmes.
Maintain and promote high standards in security, environmental protection, safety and health.
Undertake additional responsibilities as defined within the organisation's engineering governance and technical authority framework.
