This is a high-profile opportunity to take technical ownership of engineering works across a nationally significant infrastructure scheme, ensuring the highest standards of quality, compliance and engineering excellence are achieved. If you re an experienced engineer who enjoys reviewing work, mentoring teams and ensuring engineering standards are maintained across complex projects, this role offers a unique opportunity to step into a technical leadership position. The Client & Project Our client is a highly respected civil engineering contractor with an excellent reputation across the marine, water, environmental infrastructure and energy sectors. Known for delivering technically challenging projects to the highest standards, they work with major public and private sector clients and have built a strong reputation for quality and repeat business. They are currently delivering a major infrastructure project in Plymouth, involving heavy reinforced concrete structures and complex marine works. The Role As Lead Engineer, you will take responsibility for overseeing engineering activities across multiple work sections, ensuring works are delivered in line with design specifications, engineering standards and project requirements. You will act as the key technical authority on site, supporting the delivery teams while reviewing and verifying engineering works. Your role will include mentoring engineers, checking engineering outputs and ensuring the highest standards of delivery across the project. Key responsibilities will include:
