Project Duration: Long term work on a flagship UK infrastructure project The Role We are currently recruiting for a Site Engineer to join a Tier One contractor on the Sizewell C nuclear new build project. This is a permanent, long term position offering excellent job security and the opportunity to work on one of the UK s largest and most prestigious infrastructure schemes. The successful candidate will be a well rounded Site Engineer, comfortable with both setting out on site and handling the technical / paperwork side of the role. Key Responsibilities - Setting out for civils and infrastructure works using GPS / total station
- Maintaining accuracy and quality control on site
- Completing and managing engineering paperwork, including:
- QA documentation
- ITPs
- As built records
- Site records and technical documentation
- Liaising with site management, subcontractors, and the design team
- Ensuring works are delivered safely, on time, and to specification
Requirements - Proven experience working as a Site Engineer on civil engineering or infrastructure projects
- Strong setting out experience
- Confident with the paperwork / engineering documentation side of the role
- Comfortable working for a Tier One contractor in a structured site environment
- Relevant engineering qualification (HNC/HND/Degree or equivalent experience)
Package & Benefits - £40,000 £45,000 salary (dependent on experience)
