Site Engineer - Nuclear New Build Project

We have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Site Engineer to join a major nuclear infrastructure project in Cumbria as part of a newly awarded 9-year framework. This is your chance to be involved from the ground up on a brand-new project, delivering critical infrastructure within one of the UK's most secure and rapidly growing sectors. This position would suit a Site Engineer with experience in civil engineering, infrastructure, energy, rail, utilities or nuclear projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Providing engineering control, setting out and technical support for construction works
  • Producing permits, task briefs and supporting project documentation
  • Monitoring quality assurance processes and maintaining accurate records
  • Supporting Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs) and managing quality documentation
  • Identifying and resolving design and construction issues
  • Collaborating with project teams, subcontractors and stakeholders
  • Maintaining site diaries and progress records
  • Promoting a strong culture of Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality compliance
  • Supporting temporary works implementation and construction planning activities
