CE&I Design Engineer
? Hybrid Working - Warrington or Cumbria
? 48 per hour (Umbrella PAYE)
? 12-Month Contract Immediate Start Available
? SC Clearance Eligibility Required
We are recruiting 2 x CE&I Design Engineers to support a major Sellafield project. This is an excellent opportunity to join a high-profile programme within the nuclear sector, delivering critical design solutions in a highly regulated environment.


Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver CE&I design packages including drawings, calculations, reports and technical documentation.
  • Produce designs in line with nuclear industry standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Provide technical support to construction and commissioning teams.
  • Participate in design reviews, HAZOPs and project meetings.
  • Support estimating and planning activities across the project lifecycle.


Essential Experience & Qualifications

  • Degree qualified in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
  • Proven CE&I design experience within nuclear or another highly regulated industry.
  • Strong understanding of structured engineering design processes.
  • Experience working to engineering standards, safety requirements and licence conditions.
  • Ability to work independently and within multi-disciplinary project teams.
  • Eligible to obtain SC Security Clearance.


Desirable

  • Previous Sellafield project experience.
  • Knowledge of BS 7671 and fixed electrical installations.
  • Experience with AMTECH/Electrical OM, Relux or Dialux.
  • Control panel and instrumentation design experience.
  • Safety-related systems design to BS EN 61508 and BS EN ISO (phone number removed).
  • Experience producing CE&I calculations and technical documentation to industry standards.
