CE&I Design Engineer
? Hybrid Working - Warrington or Cumbria
? 48 per hour (Umbrella PAYE)

We are recruiting 2 x CE&I Design Engineers to support a major Sellafield project. This is an excellent opportunity to join a high-profile programme within the nuclear sector, delivering critical design solutions in a highly regulated environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver CE&I design packages including drawings, calculations, reports and technical documentation.
- Produce designs in line with nuclear industry standards and regulatory requirements.
- Provide technical support to construction and commissioning teams.
- Participate in design reviews, HAZOPs and project meetings.
- Support estimating and planning activities across the project lifecycle.
Essential Experience & Qualifications
- Degree qualified in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
- Proven CE&I design experience within nuclear or another highly regulated industry.
- Strong understanding of structured engineering design processes.
- Experience working to engineering standards, safety requirements and licence conditions.
- Ability to work independently and within multi-disciplinary project teams.
- Eligible to obtain SC Security Clearance.
Desirable
- Previous Sellafield project experience.
- Knowledge of BS 7671 and fixed electrical installations.
- Experience with AMTECH/Electrical OM, Relux or Dialux.
- Control panel and instrumentation design experience.
- Safety-related systems design to BS EN 61508 and BS EN ISO (phone number removed).
- Experience producing CE&I calculations and technical documentation to industry standards.
