Westlakes Recruit are seeking an experienced Senior Information Manager to be engaged on a permanent basis in Whitehaven or Manchester.
This role combines responsibilities typically associated with Digital/BIM Lead, BIM Manager, CAD Manager, and Document Control Lead, supporting projects from small to medium scale while contributing to wider capability development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead Information Management activities across projects, aligned with ISO 19650 standards
- Define and implement BIM and IM strategies, ensuring data integrity, accessibility, and consistency
- Guide and train project teams on IM standards, processes, and best practices
- Produce and maintain project-level IM and BIM reporting
- Drive continuous improvement of IM processes, tools, and ways of working
- Support bid and proposal activities with subject matter expertise in IM and digital delivery
- Build strong relationships with stakeholders and ensure high-quality project delivery
- Promote best practices and contribute to knowledge sharing and capability growth
- Coach and mentor junior team members
Candidate Profile:
- Proven experience delivering Information Management / BIM in nuclear or comparable heavy industries
- Strong understanding and practical application of ISO 19650 and digital delivery frameworks
- Demonstrated ability to drive digital transformation and process improvement
- Excellent communication, organisation, and stakeholder management skills
- Proactive, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities
- Background in STEM, information management, or a related discipline preferred
