Senior Quantity Surveyor

Major Nuclear Infrastructure Project Long-Term Contract

We're looking for an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor or Project Quantity Surveyor to support a major engineering package at Hinkley Point C.

This role is ideally suited to a commercially strong QS with proven FIDIC contract experience. If you've managed complex MEICA engineering or infrastructure projects under FIDIC, we'd like to hear from you.

What's on offer?

• £550 £650 per day (depending on experience/location)
• Off-payroll contract on the basis of 30 day subcontract payment terms and adequater insurance provision
• Long-term contract
• Hybrid working with site visits two days per week
• Contract on one of Europe's largest and most prestigious infrastructure projects

The role

You'll provide commercial support across a major engineering package, including:

• Administering and managing FIDIC contracts
• Commercial reporting and cost control
• Managing change, compensation events and contractual entitlement
• Valuations, forecasting and financial reporting
• Managing subcontractor accounts and commercial risk
• Supporting project delivery teams with contractual advice
• Building strong relationships with the client and wider project stakeholders

We're looking for

• Proven experience as a PQS or Senior Quantity Surveyor
• Essential: Strong working knowledge of FIDIC contracts
• Background in MEICA major infrastructure, energy or nuclear projects
• Excellent commercial and contractual awareness
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
