Info about what the Principal Engineer entails The Principal Engineer will act as the technical leader and expert for specific, complex projects, ensuring their successful technical execution from conception through to commissioning. This includes deeply understanding how various engineering disciplines, mechanical, controls, software, and instrumentation, integrate, rigorously defining and validating project requirements, and navigating the complexities of highly regulated environments by building robust safety arguments and adhering to relevant standards. While this may take on some project management responsibilities, the core contribution remains rooted in providing technical solutions, resolving critical engineering challenges, and guiding project teams to deliver high-integrity outcomes.
