Excellent opportunity for a Mechanical Fitter, Mechanic or hands-on Engineer with grinding / finishing experience to join a well-established precision engineering company offering long term stability and a strong work life balance.

This company are a respected manufacturer supplying high quality components into aerospace, automotive, oil and gas, nuclear and general engineering sectors. With continued growth, they are expanding their finishing team at their Chessington facility.

In this role, you will work within a precision engineering environment carrying out deburring and finishing operations on CNC machined components. The position would suit someone confident using hand tools, grinders and finishing equipment, working to engineering drawings and maintaining high quality standards.

The role:

• 
  Deburring external surfaces and edges of CNC turned components
• 
  Deburring internal cross-drilling and internal and external threads
• 
  Using hand tools to meet engineering drawing requirements

The person:

• 
  Experience within a precision engineering or machine shop environment
• 
  Strong attention to detail and quality standards
• 
  Knowledge of working with multiple material types
