Based at a bespoke engineering facility in Atherton, you ll be responsible for the manufacture and assembly of Jigs & Fixtures for the Aerospace and Nuclear industries. Main Duties as a Toolmaker: - Manufacture and assembly of jigs and fixtures
- Working from engineering drawings and setup instructions
- Inspecting and measuring work using micrometers, calipers and other precision instruments
- Maintaining cleanliness, organisation and safety within the toolroom
- Occasional offsite work, both in the UK and overseas
What We re Looking For - You must have the legal right to work in the UK
- Familiar with toolroom machinery with a good understanding of engineering drawings
- Competent with manual and digital measuring instruments
- Assembly/fitting skills with good attention to detail (desirable)
- Aerospace experience beneficial but not essential
- All roles require pre-employment security screening checks, including referencing
