| Description: | PRE-CONSTRUCTION DESIGN MANAGER SOUTHAMPTON / HYBRID Due to continued successes and targeted growth, we are now recruiting for a Pre-Construction Design Manager to join our talented teams, working closely with both the bid and design teams. The Pre-Construction Design Manager will have a background in both multi-discipline design engineering and pre-construction and as well as having a passion for engineering. This Pre-Construction Design Manager is a new role within Trant Engineering and is an excellent opportunity to join a successful and ambitious team and to further grow and develop your career. Reporting to the Estimating Manager, responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Key Skills and Background: The following skills and/or experience is considered essential for this role: 1. A history of managing a team of multi-disciplined design engineers, either within a contractor or consultants 2. Previous experience working in a water/wastewater design environment 3. A thorough awareness of the commercial factors applicable to tendering & the design delivery process 4. A keen eye for detail with the ability to identify technical issues in the early stages of the project lifecycle 5. A good working knowledge of BIM/Digital Delivery processes 6. Proven ability to communicate effectively, and work in collaboration with other team members Desired Qualifications/Skills:
