Job Overview for Joiner:
A 2nd & Final Fix Joiner is responsible for the finishing stages of carpentry work on construction projects. This includes installing internal fixtures and fittings after the structural (first fix) work is complete, ensuring high-quality finishes and precise detailing.

Responsibilities for Joiner:

• Installing internal doors, door frames, and ironmongery (handles, hinges, locks)
• Fitting skirting boards, architraves, and mouldings
• Installing kitchens, cabinets, and fitted furniture
• Hanging doors and ensuring proper alignment and operation
• Fitting stair components such as handrails, balustrades, and spindles
• Installing window boards and internal window fittings
• Carrying out finishing work such as boxing-in, panelling, and trims
• Reading and interpreting technical drawings and plans
• Ensuring all work meets quality standards and building regulations
• Maintaining a clean and safe working environment

Experience Required for Joiner:

• Proven experience in 2nd fix and final fix joinery
• Strong attention to detail and finishing quality
• Ability to work from drawings and specifications
• Skilled in using hand and power tools
• Good problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
